Marjorie Ann

Hello! I’m Marjorie Ann Eno, a Filipina-American ceramic artist living in Southern Utah. I fell into pottery the tail end of 2017 and haven’t looked back! My focus is on creating beautiful functional work that elevates our everyday eating and drinking practices. I’m drawn to how pottery can influence the entire experience of common daily tasks.

I love pretty things and am also a bit of a nerd. Beetles, sharks, reptiles, Star Wars, Mass Effect, Miyazaki Films, and so much more are all my jam! If you’re lucky, you can catch me making a few pieces here and there that reflect my inner dork. Mostly I make pretty things for local shops, galleries, and pop-up markets. Currently I am a Studio Assistant and Instructor at The Tilted Kiln studio in Saint George, Utah. I also produce all my work there as well.

Elevate the Everyday

Exploring the Intimacy of a Cup

Tumblers, tea bowls, and mugs are items I create in abundance. I am intrigued by how casual yet how intimate the act of putting a cup to our lips to drink is. I have a personal love of teas and coffees. They are part of my everyday habits and I find it fascinating that over the years of collecting pottery from other artists, that certain drinks seem to be meant for certain vessels.

Mugs happen to be my most favorite item to create. I use several mugs each day which probably contributes to my fondness of mugs and mug making! This adoration for the mug is also probably why I like to create so many different kinds of mug forms. I aim to create what I enjoy using and hope that the people who adopt my cups enjoy them as well!

Do I do custom work?

On a case by case basis, yes I do! The work must be aligned with my current style and a deposit is required before any work is started. Most custom orders require 6-8 weeks to complete. This does not include shipping time.

Do you ship your work?

I do within the continental U.S. Some of my merchants also ship the pieces that they stock so be sure to check them out as well!

Do you have an online shop or Etsy?

Not yet, but I’m working on it. Subscribe to my Newsletter to stay up to date.
